A safety certificate inspection takes approximately 40–50 minutes after which a detailed written report will be issued. If your car fails the safety inspection, you’ll have 14 days to make any repairs before reinspection.
A safety certificate for a car is valid for two months or 2000 km, depending on which comes first. Certificates for licensed motor dealers are valid for three months or 1000 km from the date of issue.
